Students Participate in Regional Science Fair

Nine MCMS students recently participated in the 2016 Chattahoochee-Flint Regional Educational Service Agency (RESA) & Georgia Youth Science and Technology Centers (GYSTC) Regional Science Fair. This annual competition was held at South Georgia Technical College in Americus, Georgia. The exciting event marked the final round of competition for the nine participants who had already placed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd at a school level science fair. Students, grades five through eight, from a number of area schools attended and were judged on projects based on earth science, life science, and physical science. As part of the competition, students also participated in a personal interview.  The following three MCMS competitors earned top honors:
